In the Alternative History the Walker development began in secret during the autumn of 1941, as progress began to slow on the Eastern Front in Operation Barbarossa. Subsequently, the Soviets captured a number of specimens in varying states of operability. Marshal Vasily I. Chuikov sent examples of the Kampfläufers over to the United States for study and reverse-engineering. Following a period of research into the joint and leg structure of the captured Kampfläufers, the US Army was able to develop a sort of “walker conversion kit” for their tanks. America’s primary light tank at the time, the M5 Stuart, that was selected as the first tank for conversion into a walker. (Want to know more about the Mech5 Stuart? Then click here)

On the instructions there are a few parts in the parts list that are cropped off. The instructions are great other than that but at the same time its only a few parts and its easy to find what’s not shown by going through the steps.
