The Lt vz. 35, also known as the Panzer 35(t) in German service, was a Czechoslovak light tank designed in the mid-1930s, valued for its reliability and advanced engineering for the era. Armed with a 37mm Škoda A3 gun and two 7.92mm machine guns, it provided effective firepower against early armored threats and infantry. Powered by a 120 hp engine, the Lt vz. 35 could reach speeds of up to 34 km/h, with good mobility across varied terrain. Its riveted armor offered moderate protection, while its efficient suspension system ensured a smooth ride. After Czechoslovakia’s occupation, the tank was widely used by the German Wehrmacht during the early years of World War II, proving its versatility in campaigns across Poland, France, and the Soviet Union.
